Assistance League Diablo Valley Marches On
…on the evening of November 30, in the Broadway Plaza Holiday Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting, that is.

On a cold winter’s night, members of Assistance League® Diablo Valley, Assisteens® included, braved the elements and relentlessly marched the entirety of Broadway Plaza until they reached their goal, i.e., to espy a Holiday Tree resplendent with ornaments and lights and to greet Santa Clause. Joined by other participant groups, the attendees not only hailed the Holiday Season, they welcomed Winter.
Repeat supporters, the Kids on the Block, members of a puppet presentation that addresses such issues as physical challenges and learning differences, typically do not participate in evening events during the school week. However, the Broadway Plaza Parade encouraged puppets, children and adults, alike, to show their support of the community.
