Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Celebrates "Christmas in July" Event

Undaunted by the summer’s heat, the dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, are hastily preparing for the annual Christmas in July event, slated for Tuesday, July 19, through Saturday, July 30. At this writing, these summertime elves are uncrating “sleighsful” of Christmas inventory that again promise to grace every shelf, display case and any other available level surface in your home with holiday accoutrements. Visualize garlands enhanced with lights, many of them never used, as well as angels, Santas and elves lining your hearth. Additional garlands climbing up your stairwell will accentuate the holiday wall art also purchased during this event, all for a paltry sum. As for the wide selection of ornaments--whether for the tree or table top, you’ll create a scene that springs from the pages of Dickens. All new high-end wrapping paper, holiday cards, napkins and paper plates will make this event a one-stop shopping spree. Avoid the frenzied holiday crowds and enjoy the eye candy that will unfurl before your eyes —visions of sugar plums, indeed!
