Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Presents Collectibles and Collections

Member volunteers at Assistance4 League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette ask, “What do the items in this photo have in common?”  Answer: They are collectibles, Avon collectibles, merely a few of the 500 pieces donated just in time to be added to the annual Cashmere Sweaters, St. John Knits and Misook event that will start on Tuesday, October 21, at 10 AM.  How’s that for name recognition!  Most of these pieces remain in their original packaging; how’s that for authenticity!  As an example, the car in the photo (bottom left) is one of several models, all of which have been kept in “mint condition.”

If the words “Classic, authentic and AFFORDABLE” come to mind, surely the words “cashmere, St. John and Misook” speak  volumes.  These previously owned, meticulously cared for yet infrequently worn labels address daytime, career, holiday and evening needs whether while at home or when traveling.  Find that one item that turns a two-piece outfit into an ensemble; that’s a great start.  Continue the pur”suit” by enjoying the women-feature friendly and easy-to-store-and-pack fabrics that drape beautifully when called upon.  Should you have some of these versatile finds that no longer serve a purpose, the blue smocked member volunteers are happy to relieve you of them in exchange for a tax donation receipt.
