Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop's Annual Thanksgiving and Ski Apparel Event

Member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette remind us that Thanksgiving Day will fall on the last Thursday of November, which will allow more time to prepare for your annual traditions.

A one-stop shopping spree at this well-known landmark will begin on Tuesday, November 11 and will conclude on Saturday, November 15. As in previous years, you will welcome your guests to table and hearth with such harvest themed decor items as pumpkins, turkeys, platters, candle holders, dried flowers, wreaths, centerpieces that include Pilgrim and Native American figures and place cards, all on crisp linens, all thrift shop treasures.

While your Thanksgiving celebration will evoke gratitude, let it also emphasize the importance of overall wellness. When you venture throughout the entire thrift shop, you will discover a “ski chalet” that will equip you for traversing the snowcapped Sierra.

You’ll find such items as snowboard jackets, ski jackets, ski pants, bibs, gloves, scarves, hats and after ski boots for men, women, and children. What a great fitness regimen for the entire family to enjoy!
