Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop's Valentine's Day Event Warms the Heart

The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, that beloved landmark located in the heart of Lafayette, send a greeting to all Valentine’s Day aficionados. On Tuesday, January 26, splashes of reds, pinks, purples and whites will bathe shelves and display cases throughout the shop.

Furthermore, the red-aproned member volunteers warn that these novelties of love will virtually flutter out the door as if riding on Cupid’s wings. A selection of heart-shaped boxes, stuffed animals (some sporting hearts), decorative pillows and assorted home décor items will satiate your need for eye candy. Specifically, valentine themed plates, glasses, mugs and napkins will promise to dazzle your table. You’ll also find festively appointed tee shirts and cozy pajamas to fully embrace the Valentine’s Day spirit.

Your generous donations and purchases will improve the lives of those in our community who are vulnerable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As for some well-deserved “me time,” while browsing through the book section, you’ll find one or two romantic novels that will be looking for a home.
