Attempted Bank Robber Sought By Pleasant Hill Police

Anyone who recognizes the man pictured in these surveillance images is encouraged to call the Pleasant Hill Police Department.

PLEASANT HILL, CA — Police released surveillance images Wednesday of a man accused of trying to rob a Pleasant Hill bank Friday. The attempted robbery was reported at about 10:20 a.m. May 31 at U.S. Bank branch inside the Safeway store at 707 Contra Costa Blvd., near Sunvalley Shopping Center, according to the Pleasant Hill Police Department.

Officers responded and were told the suspect passed a note demanding cash. When no money was provided, the suspect left the bank.

No weapons were seen or mentioned, nor was a vehicle seen, according to police.
