BART Service Stopped Between Concord, Pleasant Hill
High winds to blame. There is no estimated time when the tracks will reopen.

BART service between Concord and Pleasant Hill has been suspended after a westbound train struck wind-blown debris on the tracks between the stations this afternoon, according to BART officials.
Passengers in the affected train were being transferred to another train while BART worked to establish a bus bridge in the area, agency officials said.

The service disruption, which was announced shortly before 2:40 p.m., is the second announced this afternoon by BART during a day of high winds in the Bay Area.
Service was also halted in both directions between the 24th Street station in San Francisco and the Daly City station after a large tree fell on the tracks between the Balboa Park and Glen Park stations around 1:15 p.m.

Even where BART service is still operating, reports of debris on the tracks in multiple locations are causing systemwide delays, officials said.
