Clayton Man Killed in Rollover Crash
This was the second death on the same road within a week.

A 21-year-old man died after his SUV overturned off of Marsh Creek Road east of Clayton early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver, identified by the Contra Costa County coroner’s office as Clayton resident Jeremiah Corey, was traveling east in a Mercury Mountaineer on Marsh Creek Road east of Morgan Territory Road.
The vehicle drifted into the westbound lane, then traveled off the roadway and onto the hillside of a shallow ravine, where it flipped over and landed on its roof, CHP officials said.

Corey, who was not wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene, according to the CHP.
Investigators do not know why his car went off the road.

The fatal crash is the second in the same area of Marsh Creek Road in the past week. Early last Sunday, 21-year-old Clayton resident Marcus Angelo Muskat died when his motorcycle went off the roadway and crashed.
