Commuter Alert: BART Delays; High Winds On Bridges

BART is reporting 15 to 20 minute residual delays in the Pittsburg/BayPoint, Fremont, Richmond and Millbrae directions because of a previous equipment problem on the tracks.

The delays are at Oakland’s MacArthur Station.

And also, the California Highway Patrol has issued wind advisories for the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge until further notice. CHP issued the advisories at 7:36 p.m. and 11:39 p.m. Sunday and 12:37 a.m. Monday.

CHP is advising motorists to drive with caution, keeping both hands on the steering wheel.
