All proceeds from the Wellness Gala benefit Cancer Support Community (formerly The Wellness Community), providing counseling, education and support for cancer patients and their families. The Gala features a gourmet dinner, lively auctions and a program celebrating cancer survivorship. This year, we are honoring three individuals who bring inspiration and hope to all of us.
The Spirit of Hope Award honors extraordinary community leaders who exemplify the spirit of Cancer Support Community. The 2012 Spirit of Hope Honorees are Mike and Sue Lescure.
The Shannon McGowan Award honors an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the mission of Cancer Support Community. The 2012 Shannon McGowan Honoree is Susan Wichmann.
