Food Trucks...still a trendy new wedding & event idea!

Thinking of hiring a food truck to cater your shabby chic wedding can give your guests a special experience when it comes time to break bread together. Maybe you are on a tight budget or just prefer to have a bohemian style element added to the festivities after getting married at your favorite park or beach setting.

Whether you are looking for tacos, hamburgers, cupcakes, or ice cream I guarantee there is a food truck out there that can help serve your wedding.

Some of my couples are hiring a food truck to help fill the extra time between the ceremony and the start of the reception. Giving their guest the opportunity to nibble on something savory before heading to the reception. (You don’t want your guest to arrive at the reception famished and irritable).

Another favorite wedding trend is the idea of having a food tuck show up late night at your venue or your after party spot to feed guest again after all that dancing. Not only does a food truck (or more than just one!) lend an atmosphere of whimsy and uniqueness, but it’s also a great opportunity to celebrate the food that brought you and your fiancé together in the first place!

Using a food truck at a rustic wedding venue can save lots of money compared to standard catering services and solve planning problems for venues without major kitchen facilities – by putting the kitchen on wheels!

Food trucks are emerging as a fun and accessible trend for the bride and groom who care about food and being part of the trendy craze.

For some of your guests, it may be the first time they’ve had the food truck experience since they were kids in the summertime, when they looked up to exchange their allowance for an ice cream pop. What a great way to recreate those memories!
