Gunman Robs Pleasant Hill Store: Police
The suspect got away with cash and merchandise, according to police.

A man brandishing a gun robbed a Verizon store Thursday in Pleasant Hill and then evaded officers, police said.
Pleasant Hill police said officers received a call at 11:51 a.m. regarding an armed robbery in progress at the Verizon store at 622 Contra Costa Blvd.
Employees later told officers a gun-toting man entered the business and demanded money and merchandise. After employees complied, police said they were locked in the building’s rear storage room as the suspect fled.

None of the employees were injured, police said.
The suspect, who police describe as a man between 30 and 40 years old, was not found by officers.
