Josiah Ponce is the best dressed pirate at the Faire
On Saturday, September 26, 2015, Josiah Ponce, a Pleasant Hill resident, was crowned as the best dressed wee pirate of all the lands in Willingtown at the Northern California Renaissance Faire.
Dozens of people gathered around at the Marketplace to watch as Queen Elizabeth I announced Josiah as one of the winners of the Wee Pirate costume contest. Contestants aged 7 or younger with the most devious and swashbuckling attire were chosen to participate in the competition.
