Lockdown Lifted For Nearby Lafayette Neighborhood, High School [UPDATE]
BREAKING: Suspects sought in Highway 24 area are in custody, police said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – Police lifted a lockdown for the entire neighborhood south of and including Acalanes High School in Lafayette this morning after apprehending the suspects they chased into the area, according to police.
Police lifted the lockdown at about 11:45 a.m. and announced that the suspects had been taken into custody.
The incident began at about 10:30 a.m. when Pleasant Hill police chased the suspects into the school area.

The area searched included the entire neighborhood bordered by state Highway 24, Pleasant Hill Road, Camino Diablo and the high school campus, according to police.
