Man Carjacked From His Danville Garage; Suspects Lead Deputies On High-Speed Chase Through County
The victim was uninjured. His stolen car was found in Oakland. The suspects eluded law enforcement. [Breaking]

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – Investigators are looking for two armed men suspected of carjacking a man at his home in unincorporated Danville Wednesday then leading police on a high-speed chase along local freeways before getting away, according to Contra Costa sheriff's officials.
The suspects entered the victim's garage as he arrived home on Conejo Drive a little before 11:35 p.m. They then stole some of his personal belongings and a black 2014 Honda Pilot, according to deputies.
One of the men drove the Honda Pilot and the other got into a white sedan with paper license plates and both fled westbound onto Camino Tassajara and Sycamore Valley Road. Danville police spotted both vehicles
near Interstate 680 and started a pursuit, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspects fled onto northbound Interstate 680 and then headed westbound on Highway 24, where officers stopped following them due to safety concerns, said sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee.
The Honda Pilot was found near Oakland Avenue and Pearl Street in Oakland. The victim wasn't hurt during the carjacking.
