Man Suspected Of Stabbing Of Transient In Concord Park Identified
The 24 year old was arrested Wednesday.

Police today identified a man arrested in connection with a Wednesday stabbing that sent a 59-year-old man to the hospital.
Officers arrested 24-year-old Richmond resident Anthony DiGrazia on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and on a warrant for drug-related offenses, Concord police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
Around 3 p.m., a stabbing victim walked into the emergency department at John Muir Medical Center in Concord with a stab wound to the chest, Blakely said. Hospital staff was able to take possession of the knife involved in the incident and Blakely said the emergency room was briefly placed on lockdown.

The victim, a 59-year-old transient, told authorities he was in John F. Baldwin Park when DiGrazia reportedly approached him, police said. The two men got into an argument and DiGrazia allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man, according to police. Police said on Wednesday that the victim was expected to survive his wounds.
