Man Walking Down the Street Shot in Concord
Police say the suspect fired several shots, hitting the victim once.

A man walking down a Concord street was shot at multiple times by a suspect in a vehicle late Tuesday night, police said.
Officers responded at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to shots heard in the 1100 block of Meadow Lane and found a victim who had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
An investigation revealed that as the victim walked along Meadow Lane, a suspect in a vehicle pulled alongside him and shot at him several times before fleeing.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which police said were not life-threatening.
Police were unable to provide a description of the vehicle or the suspect. The shooting remains under investigation.
