Free Advance Health Care Directives Prepared for Seniors!
"Community Partners Clinic:" CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, and CCSLS co-host a free legal clinic in Contra Costa County.
Non-profit Contra Costa Senior Legal Services sponsors a unique free bi-monthly clinic for seniors, called the "Community Partners Clinic: CCSLS and CSAA IG." This clinic is staffed by volunteers from the legal division of CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, and hosted by the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. The clinic prepares important Advance Health Care Directives (AHCD) for seniors, tailored to each person's individual wishes in a private, confidential 45-minute appointment. An AHCD is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone else to make health care decisions on your behalf when you are no longer able, and to make your wishes about your health care known. Free notaries will be available at the clinics.
The clinic will be held the 2nd Tuesday of every other month via appointment only, from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. See upcoming dates listed below. Seniors aged 60 and older who reside in Contra Costa County can make an appointment by calling the Pleasant Hill Senior Center's front desk at (925) 798-8788. There are no income limitations for this clinic and no fees of any kind.
