New Pleasant Hill Library To Be Discussed At Upcoming Meeting
Hear from Pleasant Hill Mayor Tim Flaherty and others in the next Friends of Pleasant Hill Library session, open to the public.

PLEASANT HILL, CA – The Friends of Pleasant Hill Library is holding its annual meeting on Saturday, May 19 with invited speakers Pleasant Hill Mayor Tim Flaherty and John Baker with Swinerton Management & Consulting to discuss the new library, and the public is invited.
Baker is the project manager overseeing the new library project. At the meeting, Flaherty and Baker will update the project timeline and address such issues pertaining to the project as the "spaces and places" design in the new building, the organization said.
The design goal is to meet "the need to have a 21st century facility which will provide library services and programming for the next 50 years," according to organizers, adding that the audience can ask questions.

The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library meeting will be at 10 a.m. inside the library at 1750 Oak Park Blvd. in Pleasant Hill.
