Preserve Neighborhoods

Pleasant Hill can expand housing thoughtfully without compromising what makes it worth living in. Higher density belongs along transit corridors and underutilized commercial spaces, not pushed into the heart of established neighborhoods. Put housing where the infrastructure already carries it.

Protect Greenspaces

Defend Paso Nogal Park and District 4 public open spaces. As a physician and civil engineer, he understands the intersection of community, environment, and health. As a Board Director of the Recreation and Park District, he has protected these public assets.

Community Safety

As a physician, he sees safety differently. Not just the absence of crime, but the presence of conditions that keep people healthy, supported, and connected. Traffic calming, wildfire preparedness, and public safety reform need urgent action.

Support Local Business

A vibrant city requires a thriving local economy. He will work to attract and retain small businesses, reduce commercial vacancies, and create welcoming public spaces that encourage residents to shop and dine locally.

Transparent and Accountable

City Hall should answer to residents, not outside influences. He will fight for balanced budgets, full transparency on tax dollar spending, clear records on council votes, and an open mayoral selection process.
