'Person Under Train' At BART Embarcadero Station On Wednesday Afternoon

BART trains coming into and out of San Francisco will be severely delayed this afternoon because of a person under the train at the Embarcadero station, BART officials said.

The incident was reported at 2:54 p.m. as a person under a train on the East Bay-bound tracks at Embarcadero, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost.

Trost said there was no information immediately available about the condition of the person under the train.

She said as of 3:15 p.m. that trains are not stopping at the Embarcadero station and are single-tracking in the area of the incident.
