Philanthropy Seminar at JFK University

A Seminar for Nonprofits on Creating and Sustaining High Performing Organizations

Join JFK University Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM for a philanthropy seminar. Set your nonprofit up for greater success and resiliency through training. Learn about The Performance Imperative, a framework for social sector excellence and the seven pillars of high-performing organizations developed by a collaborative of the Leap of Reason Initiative (http://leapofreason.org/performance-imperative/performance-imperative-ma...).


Engage in dialogue with nonprofit leaders in a series of three breakout sessions featuring:
-Chip Edelsberg, PhD – Founding Executive Director, Jim Joseph Foundation
-Lisa Hunter – Director of Organizational Learning, Center for Youth Wellness
-Sam Cobbs – President/CEO, First Place for Youth

The Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at JFK University builds and strengthens the capacity of nonprofits through training programs in fundraising and leadership. It is part of a growing network of Institutes inspired by the vision of philanthropist and entrepreneur T. Denny Sanford, and that are being launched in coordination with National University’s founding Institute.
