Pleasant Hill Police Find Missing Man, 22

He is deaf and blind, and was missing from the Camelback neighborhood.

Police have found a 22-year-old blind and deaf man this morning who went missing from Pleasant Hill’s Camelback neighborhood Monday, police said today.

Police found Francisco Tafeamalii at 3:14 a.m.

Police are looking for a 22-year-old deaf and blind man missing from the Camelback neighborhood of Pleasant Hill, police said.

Pleasant Hill police reported the person missing at about 11:15 p.m. Monday. Francisco Tafeamalii is a Samoan man who does not speak but uses American Sign Language.

Police said Tafeamalii has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old. Tafeamalii is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black San Francisco Giants hat, gray t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about Tafeamalii is being asked to call the Pleasant Hill Police Department at (925) 288-4600, Ext. 0.
