Pleasant Hill Robbery, Carjacking Suspect Forces Way Into Home: Sheriff's Office
BREAKING: Authorities are seeking a suspect who reportedly forced his way into the victim's home, robbed him and stole his vehicle.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A 67-year-old man was the victim of a robbery and carjacking Wednesday in an unincorporated area of Pleasant Hill, according to Contra Costa County sheriff's officials who are searching for the suspect. Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Jimmy Lee says deputies responded at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred in the 200 block of Tono Lane.
"The victim ... said a suspect forced his way into his apartment, robbed him and stole his vehicle, a Toyota Camry," Lee stated in a news release.
After an extensive search Wednesday night for the suspect and the victim's car by personnel with the sheriff's office and neighboring law enforcement agencies, neither were located, Lee said.
