38 Years in Wait - Star Wars Not to Late
38 Years in Wait and for Star Wars Not to Late!
As an original Star Wars Fan, I remember waiting in line for two+ hours in San Francisco at a single large screen theater at the Coronet. Amazingly, the line almost wrapped around the city block. For us to see the first “Star Wars,” was a phenomenon and from that moment on we were fans. We returned to see it and stand in line 2+ hours three more times!
Then later on as parents we passed on our fan-ship to our sons who are now young adults. Like all the offspring of the original fans, they too can pass on their love for the series to another generation beginning with “The Force Awakens.” It has taken 31 years for that life changing and global phenomenon to occur, from “Return of the Jedi” to now and truly we could wait no longer!

After last nights advance showing, like anything good it was worth the wait. Since the first Star Wars in 1977, until now it’s been 38 years in the wait and for star wars fans it’s not to late. We too have aged like Hans Solo and Princess Lea, and as we see them on the big screen, we see ourselves, older and wiser but the battle between the light and darkness continues!
And it’s never to late to wake up, and take up the 31 year sleeping battle of good versus evil to awaken once more and ”may the force be with you!”
