Possible Delays This Morning On BART Due To Earthquake
A 4.0-magnitude temblor shook the East Bay at 2:41 a.m.

BART is experiencing 10 minute delays, following major delays earlier this morning because of an earthquake. The earthquake struck near Fremont at 2:41 a.m. this morning, according to the US Geological Survey.
The USGS had first reported the earthquake as a magnitude 4.1 earthquake but later changed it to a magnitude 4.0 earthquake. Around 4:30 a.m., BART reported 30-minute delays, as trains performed track inspections.
Just before 5 a.m., all of the tracks had been inspected and trains returned to normal speed, BART officials said. BART reported the 10-minute delay at 5:55 a.m.
