Public Forum Coming Up To Discuss Contra Costa Mental Health Funding
Goals include identifying service gaps and setting priorities for the next three-year budget.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – Contra Costa Behavioral Health, a division of Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS), invites anyone interested in improving local mental health services to participate in a public forum Thursday, Nov. 3, in Pleasant Hill.
The forum will help the county set its budget for state Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding for 2017-20. Contra Costa’s current MHSA budget, which ends in June 2017, will have provided about $41.6 million to more than 80 mental health programs, prioritized through a similar community planning process.
The session will be at the Pleasant Hill Community Center at 320 Civic Drive from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
