Santa's Official Local Mailbox Accepting East Bay Christmas Lists

Santa’s official local mailbox for children’s Christmas lists is now open at Oakland’s Main Post Office.
Located at 1675 Seventh St., Oakland, the “Santa Station” opens at 10 a.m. and is located in the post office’s retail lobby.
For 102 years, the postal service has helped make children’s wishes come true. Those wishes have included requests for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing, and sometimes missing parents.

Parents and children can drop off letters to Santa Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., through December 19.
During the time Santa’s Station is open, one of St. Nick’s Helpers will be able to assist people interested in adopting a letter.

This year, Santa’s official mailbox at Oakland’s Main Post Office will serve the Bay-Valley postal district, which includes an area from San Jose south to King City and all of the East Bay.
