Scratchers Ticket Sold At Pleasant Hill 7-Eleven Pays $1Million

The store on Gold Club road will receive $5,000.

A $1 million Scratchers ticket was purchased recently in Pleasant Hill, California Lottery officials said Monday.

Peggy Cuevas’ husband brought home the “50X The Cash” ticket and she scratched it to discover she won the top prize of $1 million. The 7-Eleven store at 17 Golf Club Road where the ticket was purchased will also receive a retailer bonus of $5,000, lottery officials said.

Before turning in her winning ticket, Cuevas made breakfast for her family.

“It was so early the lottery offices weren’t even open yet, so I made breakfast for everyone and waited,” Cuevas said in a statement.

According to lottery officials, the family plans to buy a house, car and boat with the winnings and will possibly take a cruise next year for their anniversary.
