Seeking Volunteers for the 2022 Pleasant Hill 4th of July Celebration

Pleasant Hill’s 2022 Fourth of July event is returning by popular demand!

The Pleasant Hill 4th of July Commission works year-round to fundraise, promote and plan our Fourth of July celebration. Our goal is to serve our great community while celebrating our Nation’s birthday. We create events and activities for all generations to enjoy.

On March 1st we launched an online community survey to find out if folks were ready to restore our traditional 4th of July celebration events with large gatherings. The majority of the survey responses from our community confirmed the desire to restore the traditional 4th of July events that everyone loves.

We are planning a gradual and safe transition back to some of our traditional events this year with the parade through downtown Pleasant Hill and the fireworks show at CPHS.

We are planning to incorporate other traditional events including the Party in the Park and 5K fundraiser run.

To make these events a success, it is essential to have the volunteer support from our citizens.

With your help and the Fourth of July Commission efforts, we can continue to provide our Independence Day events that help to enrich our community.
