Sport Clips Haircuts Collecting School Supplies for Mt. Diablo Unified

It's Back to School time and everyone is shopping for supplies. Not everyone in our community, however, can purchase all that they need for the coming year. In addition, teachers always welcome extra supplies to help them during the year. That is where Sport Clips Haircuts is helping.

Now until August 26, 2016, Sport Clips Haircuts is collecting school supplies at their Concord, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek locations. In exchange, they will give a FREE Haircut ticket that can be used for a future visit. All you need to do is bring in new and unused supplies to one of these locations to claim you free haircut ticket.

What supplies are needed, you might ask? The most popular items are backpacks, calculators, binders, pens and pencils. All of these supplies will be dropped off at the Mt. Diablo Unified School District office at the conclusion of the supply drive. According to Nicole Perez, Store Manager of the Walnut Creek location, "It feels great to be able to help out the communities in which we serve. Though this is the first time we have held a supply drive, we look forward to doing it every year going forward."
