Volunteer Workday (DiRT) at our Marsh Creek 4 & 6 Properties

Saturday, August 1st , 9:00 a.m. – Noon

Enjoy the beauty of Mt. Diablo’s foothills as we help native bunchgrasses, shrubs and woody plantings establish in the Marsh Creek riparian corridor.

We’ll also be restoring a volcanic dome by watering native plants that were installed over the winter.

Bring a lunch and picnic in the gazebo after a satisfying morning of supporting Save Mount Diablo in its mission to preserve, protect, and restore one of Contra Costa County’s most precious natural resources.

Dress in layers, be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. There are no restrooms on site.

Directions: From Walnut Creek: Head east on Ygnacio Valley Rd from Walnut Creek, turn right on Clayton Rd which becomes Marsh Creek Rd – Aspara Dr is off the right side of Marsh Creek Rd, 1.5 miles past the intersection of Morgan Territory Rd.
