Where Is This Alleged Serial 'Cat Burglar'? Concord PD Wants To Know
A $50K warrant is out for arrest of 31-year-old Jason Lee Harris. And cops tell locals to lock their windows and doors -- even if at home.

Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man suspected of stealing from homes in central Concord, police said.
Police said 31-year-old Jason Lee Harris allegedly enters homes late at night at about midnight or in the early morning hours until around 6 a.m.
“He’s putting himself in harm’s way,” Concord police spokesman Cpl. Chris Blakely said.

Blakely said that’s one reason police want to apprehend him. There’s no telling what a resident will do if they find Harris in their home and there’s no telling what Harris will do, Blakely said.
A $50,000 warrant is out for Harris’s arrest. Blakely said two people have positively identified Harris as the burglar who entered their home. Harris allegedly enters homes through unlocked windows and doors.

Blakely said officers have posted photos of Harris on social media sites such as Nextdoor and officers are encouraging residents to lock windows and doors, even when they’re home.
Police are describing Harris as a black man, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with black hair. Harris has been seen with and without dark-framed glasses, police said. Police are asking anyone who sees Harris to call 911 and give police his location. Police said Harris may be dangerous and therefore residents should avoid trying to apprehend him.
Anyone with information about Harris is being asked to get in touch with Cpl. Blakely at (925) 250-9561 or via email at christopher.blakely@cityofconcord.org.
