PLEASANTON, CA - If Old MacDonald had a farm, it might have been in Pleasanton.
Pleasanton police said that they responded to reports Tuesday morning of a pig wandering near Dublin Canyon Road. The pig was not âBacon,â the piglet found wandering around Vineyard Avenue and Leona Place in January 2022 whose owners have still not been identified.
âHAMriettaâ is slightly larger than Bacon was, weighing in at over 200 pounds, according to a PPD report. She reportedly has a âsweet personality with a sweet tooth to match.â CSO Amy Martin and Animal Services Officer Frankie Ayers were unable to find Hamriettaâs owner, so they transferred her to a local shelter, where they kept her happy with mints and a bed of hay.
