3 Pleasanton Schools Close Due To Power Outage
Foothill High, Fairlands Elementary and Lydiksen Elementary schools are all closed Monday.
PLEASANTON, CA — Three schools closed Monday in the Pleasanton Unified School District due to power outages. Foothill High, Fairlands Elementary and Lydiksen Elementary schools are all closed and district officials plan to provide an update later Monday on whether classes will resume Tuesday.
PG&E has advised officials that it may shut down power again Tuesday due to extreme fire conditions. Additionally, smoke from the nearby Kincade Fire and other wild land blazes prompted a Spare the Air alert Monday.
