3 Vegetation Fires In Sunol, Livermore Burned Back-To-Back

Three fires were reported in a 10-hour time period from Tuesday evening to early Wednesday morning.

SUNOL, CA — A Sunol vegetation fire was one of three Tri-Valley fires fought Tuesday evening and early Wednesday.

At 3:45 a.m. the Alameda County Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire in Sunol, near southbound I-680, south of Vallecitos Creek and Highway 84, according to smartphone app PulsePoint.

Two vegetation fires were reported within hours of each other Wednesday and Tuesday in Livermore.

The first fire was reported at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, neat eastbound I-580 at the N. Livermore Avenue exit, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department reported on PulsePoint. A second fire was confirmed at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, near 2700 Las Positas Road, PulsePoint shows.

The weekend was a busy one for firefighters too. Three Tri-Valley wildfires were extinguished Sunday, including two in Livermore and one in Pleasanton. The largest spread to 12 acres.
