$5,000 Reward in Pleasanton Home Depot Burglary Case

Breaking: The "Baggy Pants Bandits" are also suspected in home improvement store thefts in Roseville.

PLEASANTON, CA — Police are trying to identify two men who allegedly pried open the front door of the Home Depot on Johnson Drive during a burglary during the early morning hours on Aug. 14.

Police officials say they are working with Roseville Police Department investigators on the case because they believe the two are part of a crew of burglars who have allegedly been breaking into Home Depot and other home improvement stores at night throughout the Central Valley and Bay Area, stealing expensive tools.

“They entered the tool area and stole numerous Milwaukee boxed power tools,” police investigators said. “They made their escape out the same front doors and fled in a silver four-door sedan with a sunroof.”
