5-Car Crash Blocks All Lanes Of Southbound 680 Sunday: CHP

All southbound lanes near the Sunol Boulevard exit were blocked Sunday afternoon following a 5-car crash.

PLEASANTON, CA — An injury crash involving as many as five vehicles blocked all lanes of southbound Interstate 680 in Pleasanton near the Sunol Boulevard on-ramp.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash was first reported at 5:10 p.m. Sunday. Three lanes were reopened by 5:42 p.m. The CHP didn't specify how many injuries were involved or how severe they were.
