50-Foot Slide Reopens At Pleasanton's Mission Hills Park
Now, two kids can slide down the structure at the same time and a new feature has been added to improve accessibility, the city said.
PLEASANTON, CA — The 50-foot Mission Hills Park slide has been revamped and reopened to the public, the City of Pleasanton announced.
The 30-year-old slide was becoming difficult to repair and maintain due to age, so the city began construction in September 2019. The slide is now five feet wide and can accommodate two kids at a time.
The slide's drop is about 20 feet, the city said.

To its right now sits a "scramble wall" that looks something like a lower-stakes, horizontal rock climbing wall.
Visit the slide at Mission Hills Park (600 Junipero St.) from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
