500 Needy Families Shop For Free Gifts To Ease Holiday Budgets
The Christmas pop-up shop is organized by Blue Oaks Church in Pleasanton.
PLEASANTON, CA – Some parents in Dublin and Pleasanton today and Saturday will have a chance to shop for holiday gifts for their families at no cost to themselves, organizers said.
Nearly 500 families will pick out gifts that were donated by individuals and organizations including Toys for Tots, which gave more than 200 toys.
The event is the second annual pop-up shop that was introduced last year by Blue Oaks Church.
