Weekend 680 Closure Rescheduled Due To Rain

PLEASANTON, CA — For the third week in a row, Caltrans has canceled a scheduled closure of northbound I-680 between Sunol and Pleasanton this weekend due to forecasted rain.

The closure of the northbound lane of the section between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue has been rescheduled to 10 p.m. Friday, March 17 until 5 a.m. on Monday, March 20, weather permitting.

The closures are due to a larger repaving project along northbound 680 between Sunol and San Ramon. Closures are also planned on different parts of the freeway during Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
