680 Weekend Closure Postponed Once More

The northbound section is now scheduled to close from March 10-13, weather permitting.

PLEASANTON, CA - For the second week in a row, Caltrans has canceled a scheduled closure of northbound I-680 between Sunol and Pleasanton this weekend due to forecasted rain.

The closure of the northbound lane of the section between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue has been rescheduled to 10 p.m. Friday, March 10 until 5 a.m. on Monday, March 13.

The closures are due to a larger repaving project along northbound 680 between Sunol and San Ramon. Closures are also planned on different parts of the freeway during Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
