Pleasanton Patch is breaking Facebook's Commerce Policies, as they refuse to remove a posting regarding the sale of animals from their Facebook Page. When contacted about the matter, the Editor of Pleasanton Patch refused to take the posting down, despite it being a blatant violation of Facebook Policies.
When contacted about the issue, the Pleasanton Patch showed what I interpreted as very little concern about their violation of Facebook terms. I, for one, will never use a patch service again, as there is a clear disconnect between being ethical (and even following rules!) and what is actually being done.
Please consider using another platform for local news, like Pleasanton Weekly, rather than this profit-hungry news agency.
