Alameda Co. Sheriff's Citizen's Academy Begins This Week

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA – The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is accepting applicants for its Spring 2017 Citizen's Academy, which begins April 5.

Get an inside look at the Alameda County Sheriff's Office through the eyes and ears of the people who do the job every day, with presentations from the specialized units, tours of facilities and you'll learn the tools you need to be an empowered and safer citizen.

Most classes are on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through June 28 at Ashland Community Center, 1530 167th Ave. in San Leandro.
