Amador Valley Centennial Weekend Planned
Celebrate Amador Valley High School's centennial anniversary with parades, reunions, picnics, football, and more.

PLEASANTON, CA — Back to school will look a little different this year at Amador Valley High School. As the school turns 100, the whole city is invited to an entire weekend’s worth of festivities.
From Thursday, Sept. 14 until Sunday, Sept. 17, the community can take part in any or all of numerous festivities celebrating the beloved school. Click on the links for more information and tickets.

- Wine and Cheese Opening Reception at Museum on Main: Click on the link for tickets to the opening reception. From Aug. 27-Oct. 7, the museum is hosting a Centennial Exhibition looking back at AVHS’s first one hundred years.
Friday, Sept. 15
- Centennial Parade on Main Street: Enjoy floats of teams, clubs, and music from students and alumni. Click on the link to register a float.
- Campus Tours of Amador Valley: A student-guided tour of the campus. Limited spots available.
- Pigskin Event and Football Game: Enjoy the Pigskin spirit rally at 4:30 and varsity football game at 7. Tickets are required.
Saturday, Sept. 16

- Centennial Pancake Breakfast with Amador Friends of Music: From 8:30-11 a.m., celebrate AVHS teachers and staff with a pancake breakfast from Amador Friends of Music. Tickets required.
- Meet Up in the Park: Enjoy picnics at Lions-Wayside and Delucchi parks.
