Amador Valley, Foothill High Schools Garner Top 100 State Ranking From US News & World Report

The highly regarded rankings praised the high schools.

US News & World Report has released its highly anticipated annual ranking of Best High Schools in the US with Amador Valley High School and Foothill High School in Pleasanton garnering an impressive list of accolades.

Amador Valley is ranked No. 57 in California, while Foothill is No. 85. Both earned Gold Awards.

The article notes, “Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Amador Valley High School is 63 percent. The student body makeup is 50 percent male and 50 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 43 percent.”
