Amador Valley High School Principal Resigns

Alberto Solorzano has been on leave since February.

PLEASANTON, CA — Amador Valley High School Principal Alberto Solorzano recently submitted his resignation, a Pleasanton Unified School District spokesperson confirmed. Solorzano, who served as the school’s principal for less than a year, has been on leave for personal reasons since February 19.

The resignation, which takes effect June 30, is up for approval during the Tuesday school board meeting, Gannon said. Nimarta Grewal, the school’s vice principal, will serve as principal until a new one is selected, according to District spokesperson Patrick Gannon.
