• Alameda County Fair Unveils 9/11 Installation Featuring a Piece of the Twin Towers (contracosta.news) — Pleasanton’s Alameda County Fairgrounds will host a powerful new 9/11 memorial exhibit this year, featuring a steel beam from the Twin Towers and a wall of names. The tribute anchors a packed 2026 Fair schedule running June 19–July 12, with concerts, action sports, drone shows, and multiple discount days. Locals can already buy advance tickets and plan which special promotions to use.
