Pleasanton Ice Cream Shop Amongst Most Popular In The Country: Yelp

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Just in time for the summer, Yelp has released its list of the "50 Most Saved Ice Cream Shops in the US," and a Pleasanton staple cracked the list.

Meadowlark Dairy in Pleasanton took the No. 5 spot, making it the only other Bay Area shop to make the list.

The family-owned Pleasanton shop, which offers a variety of dairy products, has been around for more than 100 years.

It holds a high 4.7 rating on Yelp with over 3,500 reviews.

"My favorite dessert place in the bay!!! Always my go to evening spot to hang with friends," one five-star review of Meadowlark Dairy on Yelp read. "Even though the line is always long here, the service is super fast and friendly. There's a local park nearby to enjoy the ice cream & hang out."

"Meadowlark dairy should be a historic Treasure," another review read. "There are a few dairies like this left in California."
