She shares insights on stress, anxiety, and future careers while emphasizing empathy, listening, and encouraging classmates in Pleasanton and beyond to seek help and feel heard.
3. Pleasanton Preps: Amador football gets off the schneid with 32 points in win over Liberty (danvillesanramon.com) — Amador Valley's football team finally broke through in Pleasanton with a 32-28 win over Liberty, powered by a young roster and the return of senior lineman Calvin Albertson. The Pleasanton Preps column also spotlights strong tournament runs from Foothill and Amador girls' water polo and Foothill girls' volleyball, giving local fans plenty of names and performances to follow.
4. D.A. Ursula Jones Dickson: Terminix to Pay $3.15 Million Over Illegal Disposal of Pesticides, Customer Records (ognsc.com) — A statewide investigation into Terminix's hazardous waste and record-handling practices has led to a $3.15 million settlement, affecting facilities including one in Pleasanton.
